In 2023, shrimp culture in small sheds across the country will be in full swing. The number of shrimp culture sheds across the country will be about 350000, of which the scale of shrimp culture in small sheds in South China will be about 50000, doubling year on year. The rapid rise of small shed shrimp represents the upgrading of China's shrimp farming model, promotes productivity improvement, and stimulates the demand for good products and technologies among farmers, bringing opportunities and challenges to related enterprises. Many companies have joined this surging "battlefield" with their good products and technologies. Among them, Hainan C&G Hesheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. adheres to the positioning of "integrating the world's best shrimp water quality treatment technology solutions, practical disease source analysis technology, early warning technology, and treatment technology solutions, while seeking the world's highest quality aquatic animal protection products to support the operation of the plan, serving China's advanced aquaculture mode, and enabling shrimp farmers to achieve long-term stable harvests", and carefully prepares, Bringing the most advanced product "whirlwind" to the industry has increased the success rate of shrimp farming.
This newly established company in March this year is backed by a group of professional and practical technical teams from China and Thailand who have been working in the shrimp industry for decades. They spent two years introducing an animal protection product called "Aquatic Product No. 7" to China, and hope to provide detailed product and aquaculture technology training to distributors across the country this year, hoping to solve the problems encountered by farmers in the first place.
In addition to the flagship product Aquaculture No.7, they also plan to introduce at least 10 aquaculture animal protection products from multiple countries that have been validated in foreign markets. In terms of team building, C&G is recruiting personnel both domestically and internationally, and Thai shrimp farming technology experts have joined C&G to better serve farmers. Yu Chunye, General Manager of Hainan C&G Hesheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd., told reporters that, The founding team of the company comes from both China and Thailand, with over 20 years of experience in shrimp farming, shrimp fry, and large shrimp farming. They are active entrepreneurs on the front line and can adjust solutions based on China's farming model. In the future, C&G will provide shrimp farmers with one-stop service guidance, deeply cultivate technology in the Chinese market, and enable more farmers to use our good products and enjoy our good services.
Yu Chunye, General Manager of Hainan C&G Hesheng Biotechnology Co., LtdFrom Good Products to Good CompaniesAgricultural Treasure Book - Big Country Fisheries: C&G was established in 2023. Why did you choose to establish such a company at that time?
Yu Chunye: Our company's philosophy is to integrate the world's highest quality animal protection resources and serve China's most advanced breeding mode. Why is there such a concept? In fact, before the outbreak of the epidemic in 2019, our Chinese team met our Thai partner during a visit to Thailand and learned about a product being used locally, called Aquatic Product No. 7. At that time, our team brought some back to China for trial use and felt that the results were very good. The team thought that such a product must be used by more people, so they immediately went to Türkiye to win the exclusive agency of Aquatic Product No. 7, and spent two years completing the relevant import procedures of the Ministry of Agriculture and the General Administration of Customs. At the end of 2022, all procedures for this product were officially completed, and at this time, our teams from China and Thailand both believed that the Chinese market had great potential and that we should establish a deep cooperation company together to complete this business. Against this backdrop, we initiated the company registration process in early 2023 and established Hainan C&G Hesheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. C&G Hesheng means gathering talents, creating value, and collaborating with our clients for mutual benefit, which precisely aligns with a beautiful vision of our Sino Thai joint venture.
Agricultural Treasure Book - Big Country Fisheries: What are the advantages of C&G compared to other animal protection enterprises?Yu Chunye: We are a Sino Thai joint venture company. Our founding team has over 20 years of experience in shrimp farming, shrimp fry, and large shrimp farming. Our team has rich experience and can provide relevant technical guidance to farmers starting from shrimp fry. The company has more than 170 teams in Thailand, including more than 50 aquatic service teams. It is one of the top 5 animal protection enterprises in Thailand, and has its own independent laboratory and research and development capabilities. Baolai Aquatic Seeds (Qionghai City, Hainan Province) Co., Ltd. in China is the first shrimp seedling enterprise to sign post sales technical services with C&G. This company has four production bases in Qionghai, Wenchang, etc., and nine direct markets in the country, The annual sales of high-end shrimp fry are about 7 billion, covering various main shrimp breeding areas across the country. Secondly, there are cooperation units with shrimp fry enterprises such as Hainan Hemei and Zhengchuan. In addition, our technical director Supathanit Jaikra (senior A) graduated from Kasetsart University, the most famous institution in the Thai aquaculture industry. He is a technical consultant for Dingfeng shrimp farming in China and has been serving farmers for more than ten years. He is a recognized technical expert who can combine the strengths of China and Thailand to provide users with experience and solutions in shrimp farming. Our team also has employees who are proficient in international communication and business development, proficient in English, Chinese, and Thai. They can communicate with foreign suppliers, experts, and customers, bringing the cutting-edge international aquaculture technology to China and providing it to our farmers. We will provide product training and technical support, and our partners who join the C&G Dynamic Protection platform can truly enjoy the benefits of "using C&G Dynamic Protection, breeding without troubles".To be able to "bring in" and "go out", C&G needs to be an international platform. The company has such an international background that when integrating the world's highest quality animal protection products to serve China's aquaculture industry, it will also introduce good Chinese products to foreign countries, especially the Southeast Asian market, after being exposed to good domestic products. In this regard, our Thai team has already expanded its territory in countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.
In terms of product planning and quality control, as our products are all imported from abroad, each batch of products will undergo spot checks with detailed quality inspection reports and will not contain prohibited substances such as hormones and antibiotics. This is our commitment to product safety. C&G only selects high-quality and efficient products that can effectively solve the problems of farmers. Therefore, before the official launch of a product, we need to repeatedly verify, such as reviewing product formula experimental data, confirming legal regulations, verifying agricultural university laboratories, and tracking data from experimental fields in the Thai and Chinese markets.Deeply cultivate the Chinese market to provide better services for farmersAgricultural Treasure Book - Big Country Fisheries: What are the similarities and differences in shrimp farming between China and Thailand? What is C&G team planning to do in China?
Yu Chunye: Thai shrimp farming places more emphasis on pre-treatment of water before farming and prevention and control of early diseases. The farming density is also relatively low, and investment is spared in oxygen enrichment and water treatment. Chinese shrimp farming has been pursuing a high yield and easy to control model from extensive to high-level ponds, to small sheds, and to industrialization. However, disease problems have become more diverse with the intensification of environmental water pollution, and the toxicity of mutated Vibrio has increased. Among them, the harm of spore worms is relatively serious, which is generally present in aquaculture areas, causing symptoms such as white stools and slow growth. Chinese farmers are prone to abandonment when encountering spores, resulting in significant losses. The shrimp farming industry in Thailand has basically chosen to face it, and through technical analysis, timely detection and early intervention treatment with Aquatic No.7 have been achieved, achieving good results. We have introduced Aquatic No.7, which is produced in Türkiye and has been used in Thailand for many years. This product is more suitable for efficient and high-density farming modes such as high pools, small sheds, and factory farming. It emphasizes early prevention work, and has obvious effects on Vibrio and EMS (early death syndrome), except for spore worms. Many customers have provided good feedback, and the repurchase rate is about 80%.In China, we will also learn from the experience of shrimp farming in Thailand and hand over the technology of observing shrimp conditions with a microscope to dealers. We will train them on how to sample and observe the pancreas and intestines of shrimp, so that farmers can quickly understand the condition of their shrimp. Once diseases occur, we can take immediate measures to prevent and control them, and avoid significant losses.
Agricultural Treasure Book - Big Country Fisheries: For C&G, it is currently in a period of rapid development. What are the company's plans next?Yu Chunye: We plan to introduce 10 animal protection products for aquaculture this year, which will involve multiple types of aquaculture. They will be integrated into a solution that can improve aquaculture efficiency in various aspects, from water preparation to aquaculture, echoing our goal of "using foreign exchange to create animal protection and no worries in aquaculture". Some of these products are already in the testing stage, such as three water treatment products, which are very suitable for the small shed breeding mode. Aquaculture 7 has been using California perch, Tilapia, Grouper, Tachysurus fulvidraco, bullfrog and other varieties for relevant tests, and found that the effect is really good.
At present, we are also planning a "one-stop" service. Due to our shareholders and team's abundant experience in shrimp farming, we can provide a lot of advice for shrimp farmers in terms of seedling purchase, water transfer, and aquaculture. We can even provide services from buying shrimp seedlings, so that farmers can raise shrimp with peace of mind.C&G is also making efforts to introduce related products into efficient and high-density shrimp farming models such as high ponds, small sheds, and factories. As our home, the company in South China will vigorously carry out deep cultivation, while focusing on the whole country, developing customers in Shandong, Zhejiang and other places, and expanding its technical team to train more farmers to master mirror inspection technology, in order to discover problems in aquaculture as soon as possible and better serve farmers. For Aquatic No.7, we hope to quickly promote it nationwide this year, so that more farmers can use our good products.Demonstration of breeding effects
